During this weekend, the last of 10 massive horseback riding events was held in Hermosillo. The ride began in Ures and finished in La Sauceda with a concert of two renamed artists, some free lunch and lots of beer.
For some people, this event is an opportunity to participate in an activity that otherwise they wouldn't get involved at all. It's also an opportunity to strength the bonds between good friends while enjoying the open space on the back of a horse.
For other, this is an opportunity have a good time and to enjoy food and drink for free on the expense of the government (of the tax payers) during the weekend. Some one who participated in one of these events told me, and I quote " es una mega pisteada"
What we can't deny is that this last ride served to point the reflectors on the possible candidates for next election period. I think that the use of the media will be definitive in the next governor elections for our state, and also for the local mayor.

well... i think that the horseback riding is just a unnecessary LUXURY. The money that is already sepended is about more than 15 million in mexican coin. Bours is a good gobernator but he can make more changes for Sonora with that money.
Although I have never been in a cabalgata nor seen one, I think it is too boring so if I had to participate on it I would be agree for the one who said "es una mega pisteada". On the other hand, it must be very exciting for people who really like it.
La cabalgata is an antique tradition in our state, for that reason is very important to maintain it. But this specific cabalgata, costed to much when it must be a modest familiar event.
Also, when I went to La cabalgata in la sauceda, for took some pictures for my photography class, I saw the irresponsability of the policians or comraders of the governor: they park their cars in wherever they want, ignoring the traffic chaos they caused, and worst, the authorities (the police) allowed then.
And other curious point, is that this cabalgata, considered 100% familiar, had a lot of liters of beer.
The horseback riding is a waste of time and money and i don't like this tradition and the treat of the horse and i think the people go just for drink beer just for have a party time

In the personal thing I am not in favor of the horseback riding, it is a lot of wasted money. The governator instead of giving publicize with this type of events, should realize activities that they benefit to the state could all the thousands of money lost in the cavalcade to help persons needed in our state
the horseback riding is a waste unnecessary,it is funny for people who like drink and free party. The state nedds take good decitions.
I think that it is realy good all the thigs Bours has done because it is an old tradition that now he make it again but at the same time he spend lots of money that the poor people need. Maybe he can help them with cloth, food and asistant houses and no more party I don’t know is a good tradition but is hard for the horses and economy for the state.
I think that the horsebak riding is a waste o money; may be it is a tradition, but the gobernator use it to get vote of the people who like the beer,and he doesn't think in otters needs that the people have!
In my opinion the cabalgata at the begining had a good intention because some citizens of the towns could express the feelings that they had about the goverment. But the cabalgata finished like a party for all the people. I don´t agree about all the money that they spent.
i think horseback riding is just waste of time, president can do better things in that time, also they waste in publicity and i think people dont care about this activity, just people with nothing to do participate.
Good evening everybody.. i want to say that I've never been in a cabalgata before.. not even went to one to see the show but i think it's something nice because it represents a lot of things about our state like traditions and clothing, of course the beautyful horse and the people that loves to live in this state i hope next year to assit to the cabalgata it would be nice to eat for free haha.. just kidding.. see you all take care..
I think the truth is an easy way that funds the government lost.
Because it does not have any benefit is only for those who wear the conduct and for the people who are visited.
Ah but I have the festivals that are made by the party at large are horseback "FIESTONES"

There is activities to all kind of people. La cabalgata is not one of my favorites, but is my opinion because i know that a lot of people really like it. to my is Ok, but i don't call it "Familiar". whatever.

I tink that is just good for turism and friendship. All the towns visited for the participants have lived and imporant experience because the whole state pu the eyes on them for two o three days. Besives, sume people know parts of Sonora where they have never been before.
I'm not agree with the events that the goverment did for the poeople, first, they want to show up the new candidates for the elections, other thing is that all the people that was in the cabalgata, is people that works in the goberment so, i don't think that "cabalgata" is an event for all the people.
