THE SECRET

Post: "The Secret" by: Mario Bermudez and Ma. Fenech

You've probably heard of "The Secret," a self-help book.

"The Secret" claims to reveal a Secret of the Universe, which is (SPOILER ALERT!) that you can have whatever you want, if you just think about it REALLY HARD. OK, that's a wee bit flip, but that really is the gist of the "secret."

Well, you also have to be a good person and you can't wish for bad stuff, but other than that, if you want it, you can and WILL get it.

It's all based on the "Law of Attraction," which author Laura Byrne says governs the universe. She goes on to explain, "The law of attraction says that like attracts like, and when you think and feel what you want to attract on the inside, the law will use people, circumstances and events to magnetize what you want to you, and magnetize you to it."

Ingredients for a good Bohemia

-------- Posted as sent by Carolina -----------

Ingredients for a good Bohemia:
First we have to know what a Bohemia is, its when your friends, family or other close people get together in a place, it could be in the beach, in the forest, or wherever you want, but it have to be far from the city because you have to be in the darkness and the only lights can be allowed its the light of the moon, the stars and the campfire´s light, and all the people have to be around the campfire.
The people there have to interact each other, and they tell stories from diferents subjets, the point here is getting closer, doing all this down of the moon light.
Now, that we know the meaning, I´m going to tell you, the ingredients for having fun in the Bohemia it´s simple to get.
1.- First you have to call to your closest friends or family members, that you know very well and you know that they have amazing, funny, scary, or others stories.
2.- Go to a place that is far from the city and the noise, with a perfect weather.
3.- Take a guitar (preferably) or other instrument, but if nobody of your friends doesnt know how to play an instrument take an stereo, but its less bohemian.
4.- Take food for the campfire, like marshmallows, sausages or other things that could be burn easily.
5.- If you drink alcohol, take it! Like beer if its hot, tequila if it is cold, or whatever you want to take and something easy to prepare or if you like the red wine it´s better! But dont take margaritas or martinis, its more fancy than bohemian.
6.- Take a good cheese and a baguette for the wine.
7.- Take a telescope, if you want to see the stars closer.
8.- Take a flashlight, because you will go to the ¨bathroom¨.
9.- Take a lot of Alka-seltzer (this is for the next day).
10.- And finally, the best thing that you could take it´s energy, because you will be singing all night long.

The horseback riding

During this weekend, the last of 10 massive horseback riding events was held in Hermosillo. The ride began in Ures and finished in La Sauceda with a concert of two renamed artists, some free lunch and lots of beer.

For some people, this event is an opportunity to participate in an activity that otherwise they wouldn't get involved at all. It's also an opportunity to strength the bonds between good friends while enjoying the open space on the back of a horse.

For other, this is an opportunity have a good time and to enjoy food and drink for free on the expense of the government (of the tax payers) during the weekend. Some one who participated in one of these events told me, and I quote " es una mega pisteada"

What we can't deny is that this last ride served to point the reflectors on the possible candidates for next election period. I think that the use of the media will be definitive in the next governor elections for our state, and also for the local mayor.

What do you think? Have you ever participated in any of the "cabalgatas"? Would you rather prefer something different? Leave your comment below please... remember, at least 4 lines of text.
